A:AnswerRefresh rate is an LED/LCD specification. OLED's have a native 120 Hertz panel and have a refresh rate of as low as 0.001 ms which for reference is around 1,000 times faster than a standard LED/LCD panel. ^CP
A:AnswerYes, I bought a display model and it was mounted on the wall at the store. You should just confirm which size mount you should purchase to accomplish this task?
A:AnswerThe OLED65C8 can connect to many different headphone models. Unfortunately we do not have a list of all models of headphones it can connect to. When the audio is going through headphones, the TV speakers will be off. A:AnswerHi Denise. Universal Table Top TV Stands will specify a range for the size of the TVs that they will accommodate, for example, you may see them advertised as "Universal Table Top TV Stand for 32" - 60" Flat-Screen Televisions" and they will also give you a 'load max' for the maximum amount of weight that they can support. The LG C8PUA 4K HDR Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # OLED65C8PUA has a weight of 46.3 lbs and its W x H x D dimensions are 57.0" x 32.7" x 1.8". Since the TV Stand is a "Universal" stand, you don't have to be concerned about the VESA Wall Mount Pattern on the TV (which is 300 x 200mm for this TV) because "Universal" means that it will accommodate various different VESA Wall Mount patterns. The VESA Wall Mount pattern are the VESA Bolt holes in the back of the TV that you need to use to attach the TV to the Universal TV Stand...^IFV
A:AnswerA good rule of thumb is to measure the distance of the TV's screen (top to bottom, not the diagonal) and multiply it by three. In your case, I'd argue that 11' to 12' feet would be a little small, but a 77" OLED is very expensive. Can you move your seating area forward a bit? If you can't, you might want to check out the 85" Sony 900F LED. Not as good as an OLED, but still a very nice TV at a much bigger size.
A:AnswerI use my Xbox One X and it works flawlessly (and the games look outstanding). I have had zero instances of image retention, but I also don't have marathon sessions like I used to. I'd say the max I've played is two or three hours in one session.
A:AnswerI know the Alpha 9 process is incorporated into the C8, but I don't know how else they differ. I did read that the jump from the 2016 to 2017 models was pretty big, but the jump from 2017 to 2018 wasn't (nor will the jump from 2018 to 2019).
A:AnswerI use the Sanus - Premium Series Full-Motion / fully articulating TV Wall Mount for Most 42" - 90" Flat-Panel TVs - Black. ($299).
Check around for pricing, but I purchased it at best buy and it appears to still be in stock. I have the 65" LG OLED65C8--- series mounted with it. My television is in a corner. I use it to swivel back and forth on a regular basis. I sit in one area to just watch TV and another area to view for gaming, so I turn it to about a 45 degree angle to the left for viewing television and another 45 degrees all the way to the right to view it for gaming. It seems to be built incredibly sturdy... and to me, a bonus it's aesthetically pleasing considering... It's not one of the cheaper ones, but when mounting such a costly TV why skimp on accessories.
