The Optical Digital Audio Output on the LG SK8000PUA 4K HDR Smart LED SUPER UHD TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # 65SK8000PUA or on any device using the Optical Digital Audio Port can pass multi-channel audio like Dolby Digital. The types of digital audio signals that can be transferred by a digital optical connection include two-channel stereo PCM, Dolby Digital/Dolby Digital EX, DTS Digital Surround, and DTS ES.
