• Yes, you need to turn off TruMotion. It's not easy to ffind. Got to Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Picture Options... that's where you can turn it off.

• LG calls their "Soap Opera" effect setting TrueMotion. Go to settings --> Picture --> Then I think it was Picture Settings or All Settings --> From there you should see TrueMotion. You can turn it off completely or adjust it. I will see if I can update this when I get home to give you a more accurate location.
