“Is there a way you can actually SAVE photos to this tv either through google photos, usb plug in or connecting through your smart phone? I have looked everywhere and can only figure how out how to view the photos, not actually save them to the tv.”

I just bought the tv yesterday it told me to download the google home app and it asked for access for photos haven’t tried it but there is a photo app built into the TVs menu
