The C8 comes with a better processor. You are unlikely to tell the difference. The best OLED is the cheapest you can find via Rtings.com

It means that the C8 can handle HDR AND High frame rates (120) at that same time. The B8 can display HDR and high frame rates but separately. Not at the same rains. High frame rate should not be confused with refresh rate. The only time the difference in processor should matter to you is if you own a recording device that records in 4k, HDR AND can capture footage at 120 FPS. Unless you own the latest and greatest GoPro or a pro Sony you probably won’t fall into this category. In addition, neither TV even has the proper HDMI port to handle the high frame rate which is hdmi 2.1. The HDR/HFR content has to be placed on a USB or from one of the native apps in the TV. In short, just go with the B8
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It comes down to nit brightness. Check out this site for reviews; it’s like the messiah of all things television - www.rtings.com. The only significant difference is that the C8 is brighter than the B8. I own the B8, and consciously purchased it knowing it was less bright than the C8. LG’s are known to be a bit brighter, especially when compared to Sony (the only other real OLED competitor), so I don’t feel that there is a good financial justification for choosing the C8 over the B8, unless it is only going to be played in extremely bright environments. Even then, it’s like $1,000+ more expensive! In the dark, you wouldn’t want to utilize the full brightness of the screen anyways IMO.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The LG C8PUA is a 2018 TV that features the LG α9 Intelligent Processor. That is new for the 2018 OLED models except for the B8PUA series which has an LG α7 Intelligent Processor. ^CP
