Hope this answers your question: The electronics are housed in a compartment on the back of the TV. The compartment is about 14 inches high and extends the entire width of the TV with tapers at both ends to become very thin at the left and right sides. The compartment is about 2 inches thick with venting holes on the top edge. Better dimensions may be available on the manufacturer's web site or you might try downloading a copy of the manual from them.
