I would look into a sort of in-line Digital Optical Audio splitter so that way you can send one output to your Bluetooth transmitter and the other to your soundbar. I have a set of gaming headphones that act as a pass-through for the Digital Optical Audio allowing me to wear headphones while gaming and a friend that is observing to listen through the soundbar.
