They are almost equal. The reason that really got me into getting a C7 instead of an old B6 was the input lag, it is much better on the C7/B7. The cons....the price since you can already get a b6 for much less.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. From my research, it appears the big differences are that the 2017 models come with LG's latest OS installed (WebOS 3.5 vs WebOS 3.0). LG has also worked some magic on the video processing too. They are now able to get more detail in the very darkest portions of an image, where the 2016 models would sign off on the darkest details earlier & just represent them as total black. Lastly, they able to tweak the light output on the panels to improve overall brightness, which was a common complaint of the 2016 models that were installed in fairly bright rooms from what I have heard. Thanks. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Too many pros to list here. The only con is no 3D .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9OvPfPd8s0 Watch this video and he explains the greatness of the 2017 over the older 2016 models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2017 model has all of the HDR formats (HDR 10, Dolby Vision, HLG, Advanced HDR by Technicolor), Dolby Atmos sound and a 25% brighter screen. It is more future proof but the 2016 is much cheaper. These are great tv's and you can't go wrong with either model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pro or con is in your point of view, but the 3D feature is not available in the “C” models in 2017. I emailed LG & they were “reviewing this change”, whatever that means(?).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2016 model sold out at most places. 2017 is up to 10% brighter and better speakers from what I read. When all 2016 ar gone 2017 should go on sale closer to 2016 prices
