HDR high dynamic range has to do with the ability to see details on the screen such as into the shadows or the highlights. It does not have to do with the refresh rate whether 120 or 240 cycles. As I understand it.

The LG E8PUA 4K HDR Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® - 65" Class (64.5" Diag), Model # OLED65E8PUA and all our OLEDs have a native 120 Hz panel. That is not the same thing as 120 Hz refresh rate. Motion Blur is a well-known issue with LCDs. It arises because the liquid crystal, which is the active element within an LCD, is unable to change its orientation and transmission rapidly enough when the picture changes from one frame to the next. OLEDs, as solid-state emissive devices, are incredibly fast as each pixel can, theoretically, change color tone in less than 0.01 ms, much faster than any LCD panel today. ^AC
