Hi Sabu. That is not true. As you are aware, 4K Ultra HD (or UHD) Blu-Ray discs are those that have a resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is a 16:9 Aspect Ratio resolution. The LG 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UM6900PUA like any other 4K UHD (i.e Ultra HD) TV also has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 and they all have an aspect ratio of 16:9 so when you play your 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs on the TV, that is the best picture you will get because the TV does not have to do anything to play display the 4K content from your discs and it will fit the screen perfectly.. The movie picture will not be shrunk at all. What you are referring to as being shrunk is letter boxing. When a lower resolution that does not have a 16:9 Aspect ratio is presented to the TV or video content that has a larger Aspect ratio like an aspect ratio of 2.35:1, to fit the image on the screen, the TV will create black bars on the sides or above and below the picture on the screen. This will not be the case with your 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs that have a 16:9 aspect ratio which is what is the aspect ratio for the TV. Check labels in the jewel cases for your 4K movies, it should indicate what Aspect Ratio the movies are...^IFV
