• Hi Donny. That is not a safety feature. During bad weather, you often get power surges or power brown outs that will cause the LG 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UM6900PUA or other electronic devices that are on to turn off and back on. You may want to consider using a power surge protector to prevent that from happening again. Some power surges can be more intense and will damage the TV...^IFV
