Have you looked in the Samsung app store that is accessible from your Smart TV menu option? I have a Samsung that is 6 years old and have Youtube playing as I write this; downloaded from said location. As for the Youtube TV app, you must first subscribe to that service or at minimum take advantage of the free trial period and then the instructions will appear to match the code from the sign-up page on your pc to your TV. (have that as well on my 6-year-old Samsung).
