“Acorn TV isn't listed as an app. Isn't it possible for me to use the internet browser function of the TV, find the Acorn TV website, and stream directly from that website (assuming I have paid for a subscription)? Am I missing something?”

Additional compatible apps can only be downloaded and installed on the LG 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UM7300PUA. They cannot be downloaded from a browser. The Acorn TV (or BritBox) app is not a compatible app that is available for download and installation on the TV from the LG Content Store as you have noted. However, the Amazon Prime Video app is a preinstalled app on the TV and you can subscribe to Acorn TV through Amazon Prime Video. It gives you all the great Acorn TV shows, except instead of viewing them through the Acorn TV app, you watch them through the Amazon app on the TV...^IFV
