Some functions may not be able to be controlled by a magic remote control. • Yes it does. The Magic remote has the capability of picking up most major cable networks. Here in SoCal its either cox communications or DirecTv. I have DirecTv and it works well. It is easy to use once you familiarize yourself with all the functions. Its a Great tv for the price!
