Regrettably, we are not familiar with your Bose 500 Soundbar, but any Soundbar can be connected to the LG UHD 73 Series 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UN7300PUA is one of three ways. The TV supports Bluetooth (version 5.0) so if a Soundbar also supports Bluetooth, it can be paired with the TV for a wireless Bluetooth connection. You can use the HDMI ARC port (HDMI 2) on the TV to connect to a Soundbar that has an HDMI port that also supprts HDMI ARC functionality. The third way to connect a Soundbar to the TV is through the TV's Optical Digital Audio Out which can be connected to a Soundbar that has an Optical Digital Audio In...^IFV
