QuestionI want to connect my TV to my stereo to listen to concert dvds. It’s odd that an RCA or even a headphone jack are not provided. It is an older Stereo system, but a good one. What is the easiest way to do it, without reinventing the wheel? Thanks!

- Answer Hi Alan. As TV and home entertainment technologies move forward with new connection options, older, less-used connections are no longer a priority for inclusion. As a result, they are decreased in number, consolidated, or eliminated. This affects the vast majority of LCD and OLED TVs and other home entertainment devices. S-Video and DVI connections are already gone, and the number of component video and composite video connections is now few in number. The LG UHD 73 Series 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UN7300PUF does not have a Headphone (3.5 mm) jack on it. It supports Bluetooth so it can be paired with Bluetooth Headphones for a wireless Bluetooth connection. The TV has an Optical Digital Audio Output in the back that can easily be connected to a Digital/Analog Converter that you can also connect to the older Analog Stereo RCA barrel ports on older stereo receivers. If your local BestBuy is not carrying them, you can find them on BestBuy.com. There is a huge variety to choose from...^IFV

QuestionIf I pick it up at the store can I lay it flat or at an angle in my suv or does it have to be on edge? If I have content access to my dvr from another home location on my iphone, can I watch on the tv? Is this through Bluetooth?

If you pick up the LG UHD 73 Series 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UN7300PUF, if you can lay it down flat in your SUV, there is an arrow on the carton that the TV is packaged in that shows which way the TV should be laid flat which is usually face down. You can have it upright or at an angle if you cannot lay it flat. The W x H x D dimensions for the carton are 65.4" x 38.2" x 7.5", so you can measure the cargo space in your SUV to see how you can fit it in...^IFV

QuestionJust bought UN7300 model TV. Am continually receiving "Audio is not supported" message. The only device attached to the TV is the cable box. Sound setting is set to Internal Speaker only. How to fix issue?? Have to return if can't fix.

- Answer Have you checked if the message comes actually from the tv or the cable box? I used to have this issue and it was the hdmi connection from the cable box. Resetting the cable box fixed the issue. Would check this first before returning the tv for another one and experiencing possibly the same problem. Good luck!

Regrettably, we are not familiar with your Bose 500 Soundbar, but any Soundbar can be connected to the LG UHD 73 Series 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UN7300PUA is one of three ways. The TV supports Bluetooth (version 5.0) so if a Soundbar also supports Bluetooth, it can be paired with the TV for a wireless Bluetooth connection. You can use the HDMI ARC port (HDMI 2) on the TV to connect to a Soundbar that has an HDMI port that also supprts HDMI ARC functionality. The third way to connect a Soundbar to the TV is through the TV's Optical Digital Audio Out which can be connected to a Soundbar that has an Optical Digital Audio In...^IFV

- Answer Both voice assistants, the Google Assistant and Alexa are built-in on the LG UHD 73 Series 65 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV with AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # 65UN7300PUA. To use Alexa with the TV you would need to download and install the Alexa app and then use the microphone on the LG Magic Remote that is supplied with the TV to issue voice commands. The TV can only "listen" to your speech when you speak into the built-in microphone on the magic remote which you have to press the microphone button on. It does not record conversations and cloud them like Alexa devices...^IFV

- Answer The most popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime are built in. It also has a Chrome web browser. The Magic remote is pretty awesome and controls my Roku Ultra out of the box. If you're anything like us though (cut the cable) you will need a streaming device to add individual channels like The History Channel, A&E, Discovery etc. Our last LG LCD TV lasted over 12 years and still works great. We upgraded to this TV and couldn't be happier. One of the coolest surprise features is that when I setup the TV for the 1st time and told it we didn't have cable, it aggregated all the free content from the internet into a guide called LG channels. This allows us to browse over 700 channels of free content without having to go to each app. We use this a lot when we're just wanting some background noise or not looking for something specific.
