No unfortunately it can not be stacked since th controls are on the top!

I do not think you can stack this dryer.

Your washer is stackable (you will need the stacking kit: KSTK1) However the DLE1001W dryer is not stackable (it belongs to the top loader category). Take a look at the available dryers: http://www.lg.com/us/dryers (click the "stackable" check box to narrow down your search).
