On the gas dryer you can only vent out the back or through the bottom, the side vent is there but unusable because LG brought the gas line in through the back right across the side vent location. You would think they could have found a better location to bring in the gas line, must have been an after thought on LG's side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a back vent. I don't believe you could side vent unless there is an after market kit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on the Users Manual, there is a side vent kit for this dryer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Cindy, The LG 7.3 cubic feet, 9-Cycle Capacity Gas Dryer, Model # DLG1002W, as with all Gas dryers MUST vent outside and gives you 2 options on how you can vent it into existing ductwork in accordance with local building codes. It can either be vented to the side or through the bottom and a new dryer is shipped to vent to the rear. An adapter kit, part number 383EL9001B may be purchased from Home Depot that contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent. Right-side venting is not available on gas models!...IFV
