Hello there! Thank you for your question about the LDE4413ST oven and the difference between the Self Clean and Easy Clean features. Self Clean is a more intensive cleaning cycle that uses high temperatures (around 800°F) to incinerate food residues and spills within the oven. This process typically takes several hours and requires you to remove any racks, as they can discolor during the cycle. After the cycle, you'll need to wipe away the ashes left behind. Easy Clean, on the other hand, is a quicker and less intense option designed for light to moderate cleaning. It uses steam to help loosen food residues, making it easier to wipe away grime without the high temperatures of the Self Clean cycle. This feature usually takes about 20-30 minutes. For light to moderate cleaning, I recommend using the Easy Clean function. To use it, simply spray the interior with water, select the Easy Clean option, and let the oven do the work. Once the cycle is complete, you can wipe down the interior with a soft cloth. If you have any further questions or need assistance with your oven, please feel free to reach out via private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. We’re here to help! —Avril
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Never use a self clean. That's the largest reason people call out a repair tech. Please don't use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Self clean is it cleans itself. Easy clean is not hard to clean.
