Ultra Large Capacity Rear Control Electric Dryer with LG EasyLoad™ Door and AI Sensing, Model # DLE8400WE, is shipped configured to vent to the rear, but can be configured to vent to the bottom, to left, or to the right, and you will need to purchase the LG Side Venting Kit, Part # 383EEL9001B, that contains the necessary components to change the duct location. You can ask your installer if they have experience changing the vent duct location for dryers, and if the installer is competent, it shouldn't be difficult to follow the manual instructions for changing the vent duct location.
