- Answer As shipped from the factory, the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Smart Wi-Fi Electric SteamDryer - Sensor Dry and TurboSteam, Model # DLEX3700V is configured to vent to the rear, but it can be configured to vent to the left, to the right side or to the bottom. You will need to purchase an adapter kit (Part # 383EEL9001B) that contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. The part can be ordered from: Encompass Parts Distribution 775 Tipton Industrial Dr. Suite F Lawrenceville, GA 30046 ^CP

You also need an installation clearance space of 5" for the rear. The dryer is shipped configured for rear venting but it can be configured to vent to the right or the left or to the bottom...^IFV

QuestionMy old LG TROMM washer had a steam fresh setting. Now that has been moved to the dryer with the new models. How can I use the steam fresh setting on the dryer and get my clothes to remain damp as before. I do not want them hot and completely dry.

- Answer No! You have to purchase them separately for both washer and dryer. I think the package was an additional $60.00. for the kits together

QuestionThe slaes person told me there is no need for a water container or a hose. Now I have this DLEX3700W without a water hose connected. Can I still use the dryer without damaging it before I figure out how to get a hose installed?

- Answer I would say it could be installed without the H2O line connected and would not cause a problem but it is best to contact LG support and get their take. If you do not attempt to use the "feature" and use it as a normal cycle it should not hurt anything. When I bought our washer and dryer all the necessary hoses and what not came with it. I am surprised that it did not have the connection set included. You should contact the manager at the store and confirm if the connection package was supposed to come included and get that resolved. I believe the cost of the unit does include that.

- Answer The dryer does not come with a power cord. It should be connected to a 4-hole outlet. The matching washer should be plugged into a 120VAC, 60Hz grounded 3-prong outlet. ^Daphane

QuestionAbout how many ounces of water is use for the steam cycle. Also why can’t hot water be used.

- Answer The tank will hold 6-8oz of water. Cold water only is used because when the steam generator is in use it is looking for a certain temperature rise to confirm operation. ^CP

QuestionThe Steam Fresh is not working, which is the whole reason we bought this set. The clothes are damp so we know it is hooked up right but the clothes are coming out more wrinkled than when we put them in. We have tried different settings and nothing works.
