Can this dryer be vented from the side? null

Yes it can, You have to buy the optional vent kit. I vented mine through the bottom to gain more floor space.

Ft. 12-Cycle Smart Wi-Fi Electric SteamDryer - Sensor Dry and TurboSteam, Model # DLEX3700V is configured to vent to the rear, but it can be configured to vent to the left, to the right side or to the bottom. You will need to purchase an adapter kit (Part # 383EEL9001B) that contains the necessary duct components to change the dryer vent location. ^CP
