• Yes. There is a round knockout on the one side near the floor. You will also need the side vent kit, no. 383EEL9001B. If you are standing in front of the dryer facing the door, the knockout is on your right. There is also a knockout to vent to the bottom.

• I just ordered this dryer. According to the manual, the vent can be routed out the side, although my dryer hasn't arrived yet and I can't confirm. Note: If it's a gas dryer, it can only vent out the left side, not the right side.
