Dyers typically do not come with a power cord because there are 2 different types of outlet styles available depending on when your home was built. ^Daphane

The purchaser must determine what type of cord they need based on when their house was built. Building codes before 1996 allowed for 3-wire connections with these types of appliances. After that, 4-wire hook-ups were required on newly built houses. The difference is just another wire for better grounding. So, neither LG nor any distributor can know when any given house was built, which is why it's up to the consumer (you) to determine & purchase the cord you need.
