Yes you need to hook up the dryer to your water line for washer. So you need a separate short hose and a v type valve which splits the cold water to washer and dryer

You will need an extra water line - unfortunately the website does not intuitively indicate this supply is needed for installation. Please add at time of purchase.

I just purchased this dryer. Is it suppose to come with the inlet hose to connect to water line? My dryer did not come with one.
