Like most high-capacity dryers, there is a slight protrusion to accommodate the venting internal components and the power cord connection. For tight spaces, position the unit near the wall by using a Side-Vent Kit or Periscope Vent. These options, unlike standard flexible ducts, enable the dryer to sit within 2 inches of the wall by directing airflow sideways or using a flat metal duct for smaller gaps.
