Yes the Y connector and hose came with the unit. Unfortunately for me the installer skipped that step and plugged it in and left. Best Buy did correct it by setting up another install date, but the inconvenience was there and annoyed that they would omit that step. Don't let the installer leave without checking first. It was pure laziness and when parts come with the unit you would expect them to be installed.
