The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Smart Wi-Fi Gas SteamDryer with Sensor Dry and TurboSteam™ - Graphite Steel, Model # DLGX3701V does not have an option for a long run motor. If you are using a 4" (10.2 cm) wall cap, the maximum length of 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct is 65 feet (19.8 m) if you do not use any 90° Elbows. You will need to deduct 6 ft. (1.8 m) for each additional 90° elbow you use and you should not use more than four 90°elbows. If you use a 2.5" (6.35 m) wall cap that should only be used for short run installations, the maximum length of 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct is 55 feet (16.8 m), and again, you will need to deduct 6 ft. (1.8 m) for each additional 90° elbow you use and you should not use more than four 90°elbows. Under prime conditions, residential and commercial clothes dryers should dry clothing in a timely fashion. Problems occur when dryers are connected to long runs of duct work. If your duct run is longer than the lengths mentioned above, you probably will need a dryer booster fan to help boost airflow through the dryer duct...^IFV
