Using the TurboSteam™ Technology on the ENERGY STAR® Certified LG 7.4 cu.ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Gas Dryer with TurboSteam™, Model # DLGX3901B does not shorten the life cycle of the dryer. LG’s steam technology allows you to inject fabrics with a swirling jet of hot steam to refresh clothes, reduce static, and make ironing easier. As you are aware from your own experiences, steam is not the same as water vapor.
