“I am having an issue with changing HDMI inputs on the remote. The button for that won't function. I programmed it to a directv DVR. Neither the directv remote nor the remote which came with the TV work for inputs. Any ideas?”

• The LG 70 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (69.5'' Diag), Model # 70UM6970PUA comes with a standard remote control which is an infrared remote control. Your DirecTV remote is probably also an infrared remote as well. Ambient light, especially sunlight, can overload or desensitize the sensor on the electronic device and cause it to miss signals sent from the remote control. Devices that use infrared to communicate with the remote control should be shielded from bright, direct light. If that does not resolve the issue, you may have to have the infrared sensor on the TV inspected...^IFV
