How do you receive programming on the LG 70 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (69.5'' Diag), Model # 70UM6970PUA? If you receive through the Set-Top box from a cable service provider, make sure that the Closed Caption feature in the Set-Top box is turned on. If you receive your programming Over-the-Air through an internal or external antenna, when the TV station provides closed captioned programming, you will get the subtitles on the TV when you activate Closed Caption. Program closed captions work only on digital / analog broadcasts or external input...^IFV
