I own one of these and they have a known manufacturing defect where the WiFi cables are horribly crimped in the back of the television set that causes the WiFi to say it is "turned off" yet there is absolutely no way to turn it on. If you take the back cover off and uncrimp the cables, it will turn back on and you can see the available WiFi networks. There are videos on YouTube you can search for to show you how to do it. That's what I did.
