• it is neither android or roku. It uses another operating system entirely. WebOS.

• I'm not sure I can answer this. It does work with ROKU, and we use it with a Firestick. We get Amazon prime, YoutubeTV and anything else we decide we want? We do not use it with a home internet provider -- we have a Verizon wifi cube.
