I do no think it is compatible since this is only for 2018 and later LG sound bar. According to LG site, it is compatible with SL10Y, SL9Y, SL8Y, SL7Y, SL6Y, SL5Y, SL4Y, SKM5Y sound bar.

Please try again later.On the sound bar remote hit the button that has plugs on it (beneath the "sound effect" button) click until you see "R" which stands for "rear speakers" once you see R then hit the plus volume button till you increase the number to "6" or as high as it will go. You can also maximize the numbers for "C" center and whatever else is there. Then turn the TV volume down to almost nothing and the sound bar and speakers will take over. Also, on the TV remote, go to settings and scroll down to the volume icon (looks like megaphone) and click on that and scroll through selecting "internal TV speakers and optical" We had a hard time getting the speakers to work also. We even exchanged one speaker kit and got another because LG support thought we had a bad receiver. LG support had us going around in circles and after talking with 3 people who had no clue of what to do we finally received help from an LG support woman who told us about the "R" on the sound bar remote. The Music Flow speakers that can be added as instructed are models, NP8340 (H3), NP8350B (H4), NP8540 (H5), NP5559NC (P5), NP5558MC (P5), NP5550* (P5) and NP7550 (P7). ^CP
