“Are speakers battery powered or do they have to be plugged in?”

• Speakers are only connected by speaker wire to the "wireless" unit which plugs into wall.

• Yes there is a control unit that must be plugged in. Two speakers are connected to the control unit by wires. Audio connection from the sound bar is wireless.

• The speakers do not need to be powered by the box does. And the speakers are hard wired to the box.
