We got the LG 86" 86UP8770PUA. Do I need a sound bar with these speakers, or can I just use these by themselves? We haven't been able to figure out how to set them up and I'm just wondering if it's because we need the sound bar. null

The rear speaker kit is compatible with select LG Soundbars. You can use Bluetooth speaker. ^Daphane

Yes, in order to use this set of speakers you need an LG Sound bar which include “Y” in the model name.
