• While you can put Banana plugs on the speaker wires, you will not be able to fit them into the alligator connectors on the backs of the speakers. • No, the connections are designed as clip on style tension connectors. You could add solder to the ends to improve grip, very easy to do with basic soldering iron(10 dollars).
