Are there any upper limits on the room temperature the receiver can be placed? I'm considering placing the receiver in my attic space directly above the living room, then drilling small holes into the ceiling and feeding the wire through those holes. null

Placing a wall or ceiling between the receiver and your soundbar may cause interference or the unit to not work as designed. The speakers should be in a room that is under 85 degrees. ^CP

I would NEVER put any electronics in a hot area. My receiver, plugged-in, sit's on the floor next to my chair. To know the receiver is working with your LG tv; You need to see the "paired" green light on the receiver, The Wires have go from my receiver to each speaker on Table-stands, behind where I sit. Keep-it-simple.
