The receiver is the only device that will be connected to the wall outlet. The speakers then connect to the receiver with the speaker wires that come included.

Please try again later.The wireless unit (the tall rectangle) had a power adapter like you said, but the speakers connect with regular speaker wire and do not need any additional power. The speaker wire included is also quite long so you shouldn't need to worry too much about how far away they are from the wireless unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I plugged it into the same surge protector as my subwoofer. The speakers worked right away. Easy to hide if you want to. Speakers have wires but are also easy to keep out of the way. Hope this helps.
