15 to 20 feet , but moreover you have to make sure the satellite tower that receives the signal from the soundbar is in the line of sight , and the green light is on , showing you that it's receiving !!! so the speakers that are plugged into it will get the sound !!!!

Set the distance between the soundbar and the wireless receiver as close as possible and keep them away from the devices such as wireless router, microwave oven, etc. over 1 m (3.3 ft) to prevent wireless interference. ^Daphane
