• The SPK8-S is compatible with the following soundbars: SK10Y, SK9Y, SKC9, SK8Y, SK6Y, SKM6Y or SK5Y. ^CP

• No there not, only works with new 2018 model soundbars from LG, like the SY-10 etc. I had the SJ9 but returned for a 2018 model SY-10 i believe.
