• I believe so. If I remember correctly, the box for these speakers said they were compatible with any LG soundbar that had a model number that contained the letter “Y”.

• The owners manual says the SPK8-S rear speakers work with the SP7Y and a section in the manual explains how to connect them to the soundbar. If you don't have the manual for the SP7Y you can find it by a Google search. Note that although there are no wires connecting the rear speakers directly to the soundbar, there are wires from the speakers to the wireless receiver.
