“What is the thread size for these speakers? Asked LG and they don't seem to know. Also their site reads wall mount kit available, but after contacting them, they don't have one. How do these mount to the wall. All they have is the tiny threads.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah, some engineering „genius” decided to put 4mm thread there which makes all the speaker mounts with standard 1/4 thread incompatible. Great job LG, Im really impressed phew!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The wall mount brackets are available from Rocketfish brand, which Best Buy should have in stock at the store. It’s a box of universal brackets (for two speaker) with enough extra parts for various installation configurations along with packet of bolts/screws and spacers which one set fits the threads of the LG rear speakers. Recommend using the spacers for secure attachment. The brackets appearance of match fit even black like the speakers. I have mine hanging and angled from the ceiling.

Please try again later.I believe 4mm is correct, but I did want to add that if you purchased the lg SK8Y it comes with 2 bolts for mounting and those work for these rear speakers. if you decided not to hang your sound bar you can use them for this product as I did. (This is only for SK8Y sound bar I have no knowledge of the other model sound bars from lg if they use the same size bolt.)

They were not able to provide ANY useful information to determine the thread size for the wall mount hole in the rear of the speaker. They have a lot of nerve advertising "Wall mountable - kit sold separately" for all of their rear speakers, while not providing any information on such an important detail, considering most customers will want to mount the speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am looking for the answer for the same question as well. I did not find a Wallmount that works well this speaker. It feels heavy and one should worry about their Drywall as well. That being said, I am on the verge of returning this rear speaker kit. Although its named as rear speaker, it does not work as one. All 5.1 content are still played by the soundbar on Original setting. The rear speakers would only come alive on Atmos content; which is few and far between.
