QuestionIn The manual it says there is an option to turn the surround on or off. I have the sk5 soundbar and the speakers only work when I have the bassboost on. What am I missing?

- Answer I believe the SK5 is a 2.1 channel sound bar so unfortunately adding the rear speakers won't give you true surround sound. I ran into this issue as well. The rear speakers will more or less just fill the empty space with the same sound as the sound bar.

- Answer I apologize, but no; the LSB316 system has not been designed to add any additional speakers. There are no output ports on the LSB316 device. ^CP

- Answer The SK5 is not a US model number. These rear speakers are only compatible with the SK10Y, SK9Y, SK8Y, SK6Y and SK5Y. ^CP

QuestionCan these speakers work with the LG SL10YG sound bar? Are there any speakers that will?

- Answer Yes, I have this exact set up and I can tell you that they work perfectly. The wireless subwoofer has a "pair" button on the back, you hold that button down while pressing the pair button found on the receiver of these speakers. Be sure to update your sound bar and turn on surround sound.

- Answer No, they work in conjunction with the Wifi LG series 9 and 10 sound bars. They will not work with your receiver or any other manufactures receviers. Hope this helps you.

- Answer No, you do not need a receiver. I'm using mine with an LG soundbar that I bought the same day. The installation was very easy. It just works.

- Answer I think the rear surround speaked serve their purpose. Not only do they fill the whole room with sound, it seems I don't need to turn the volume up as loud because of the extra speakers. You just have to watch what mode your sound bar is in, wrong mode, speakers don't work...

- Answer your SKC9 is the very same speaker as the SK9Y sold in Best Buy. This should have nothing to do with the Costco purchased soundbar. Your soundbar, Rear surrounds or both can be at fault here. Try reaching LG Warranty support. If you have geek squad Warranty, reach Best Buy for help.
