“Is the power cord on the LG - 75" Class 83 Series QNED Mini-LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV wired in to the tv at one end, or am I able to order a longer replacement cord and attach myself? Best Buy told me to use an ext. cord. I find that hard to believe.”

It’s not wired as it comes separate and needs to be plugged in. Yes. You can order a longer cable.
