• It's gonna be tight but will fit. My stand is exactly 58 inches and both feet have about 1inch on each side to the edge.

• Ronny, I am sure by now you have figured out if the TV is going to be sitting on top of a TV-stand it is always a good idea to strap it to wall and not just any wall but a stud (they are usually 16" on center) an inexpensive stud finder is handy for cases like these and the two large poly straps that came with the TV .
