No need to - the compatible Magic Remote model is MR21GC! You can search that on Amazon and it should come up, it did for me! :)

Please try again later.I have a Magic remote and when you purchase a Magic remote you just put the batteries in and press ok and it will register automatically I have pictures to show I have this same tv and a 2021 magic remote I don't know who this LG rep is but she knows very little about this TV.

The reason I say this is because in the specs bestbuy says there's no assistant built in and that's incorrect obviously.

Please try again later.Just buy a Magic remote I have this TV and because Alexa is built in it will work and on the home screen it tells you that Alexa is built in please use your Magic remote for access just make sure the Magic remote that you purchase has a Microphone get one for 2020 or 2021 to be sure it works. And to prove I have this TV I took a pic And if you scroll to the right you will see the Alexa app on the home screen.
