Don't know about mounting vertically. You do have to lay it flat briefly to install the feet. Laying flat while transporting it will void warranty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there! Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with us. We understand your situation and appreciate your inquiry about mounting options for your LG 75UT7000PUA. For optimal performance and to protect your investment, LG recommends wall mounting the TV in its standard horizontal (landscape) orientation using a compatible VESA mount. Mounting the TV vertically (portrait mode) isn't covered in the standard installation guidelines, as it typically requires a specialized mounting kit and may impact the TV’s design and performance. Additionally, laying the TV flat (face down) is not advised since it could affect the screen's performance and may lead to damage. One troubleshooting step to ensure safe installation is to review the installation guidelines in your user manual and check for any specific recommendations regarding alternative mounting methods. This can provide clarity on what mounting configurations are officially supported. https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-75ut7000pua-4k-uhd-tv#pdp_specs If you have any further questions or need more personalized assistance, please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions with you. —Renzo
