• I do not know about how long the OLED will last. The technology is too new. However, the LG LED that I am replacing is 16 years old and still works fine. If you are spending this much on a TV, consider getting the extended warranty to protect your investment. The five year Geek Squad warranty was less than $200 per year when you are spending thousands for the best picture currently available!
