If your using the furnished flat mount, no clearance at all as it sits flush to the wall. The mount allows the tv to come out from the wall about 4-6 to hook cables etc. The only depth you’ll see is the tv itself. The flat mountbis minimal.

If you are putting this inside an inset, I would recommend having it professionally done because when the mount is fully extended you'll only have about 6-8 inches, barely enough room to get your head in there to watch for the two mounting points to line up. Once on the mount bracket, you push the tv back towards the wall until it touches. We mounted this ourselves but we wouldn't do it again. Way to big, way too much flex, and we were a nervous wreck trying not to pinch the glass.

Please try again later. The G1 or G2 is flush mounted to the wall if you use the built in wall mount, if you need more space/clearance then buy a C1 or C2 and use a suitable tv mount, OLED’s are not light, almost plasma heavy. If you buy a G1 or G2 and use the built in mount the TV needs to sit flush, the mount is not meant to be extended except during install and changing out cables.
